What is meant by antarctic pure fish oil?

Antarctic pure fish oil comes from fish caught off the coast of Antarctica. The oil is produces from whole fish an does not contain more than 40% Omega 3 fatty acids. It is only concentrated fish oil products that contain more than 40% omega-3 fatty acids. Fish also contains a small amount of other omega fatty acids. This circumstance will be reflected in the natural fish oil, which also will include omega 6, 7 and 9 fatty acids. Antarctic pure fish oil is not chemically altered.

Why do I have to take so many tablets?

This is because the same amount of minerals takes up more space when they are organically bound than if they are found as inorganic compounds. To avoid the tablets become too large and thus impossible to swallow, we have had to allocate a daily dose over several tablets.

Why choose organically bound minerals?

Since humans are unable to utilize pure elements particularly well, they must be tied to a carrier molecule to be absorbed in the body.  In this context an organic mineral means that the mineral is bound to a substance from the animal or plant kingdom. Organically bound minerals have a better bioavailability in the body than inorganic. Metals bound to fruit acids are generally a good combination, and studies have also shown that, for example calcium has the highest bioavailability when it is bound to citric acid - in other words, when put into the form of calcium citrate.

Why choose natural vitamins?

Throughout history we have been accustomed to natural vitamins from food, but not to synthetic vitamins. Natural vitamins usually have a better bioavailability in the body than synthetic (racemic) vitamins. The percentage varies from vitamin to vitamin. Most convincing is seen with vitamin E, where studies have shown a 36% better bioavailability with natural vitamin E. Unofficially this figure is meant to be entire 50% compared to synthetic (racemic) Vitamin E.
